An organic, finely milled potting substrate made from the inner fibrous husk of the coconut- a biproduct from the coconut industry.
 
Coco Coir is renowned for excellent drainage and ability to hold nutrients and moisture. It is one of the most versatile products known to houseplant hobbyists, and is used as a base in all of Soil Ninja's species specific blends.
 
It's a fantastically versatile medium that is absolutely renewable and a lot better for the environment. Coco Coir can be used in any mix you require! It’s fast draining, neutral in pH and extremely easy to manipulate with aggregate and soil amendments. 
If needed, Coco Coir can stay moist without the stress of ‘when it dries out, is it constricting the roots and compacting?’. It takes a very long time to breakdown, so it’s a fantastic choice no matter how long you put off a repotting session.
